Channel on Jalan Hidup Baru Pademangan Drained

We transport them (garbage and mud) using manual equipment

Eight personnel of the Water Resources (SDA) Task Force on Jalan Hidup Baru, RT 01/09, Pademangan Barat, Pademangan, North Jakarta.

Pademangan SDA Task Force Coordinator, Muhammad Muchlis said the water channel, which is 250 meters long and 120 centimeters wide was drained, as it was full of garbage and mud.

"We transport them (garbage and mud) using manual equipment and then put it in sacks," he expressed, Tuesday (2/7).

Every day, he explained, there were 400 sacks of garbage and mud removed from this channel. The draining itself is targeted to be completed in the next 10 days.

"We hope residents will maintain the cleanliness of these channels," he stated.

Khoirudin (53), a resident of Jalan Hidup Baru appreciated the quick response of the SDA Task Force personnel in following up on public complaints regarding channel conditions.

"I thank the SDA Task Force personnel who are trying to make the water flow in the channel smooth again," he stated.
